Ocean Brass is a traditional British-style brass band from Southampton, UK. Founded in 1998, the band performs throughout the Southampton and Hampshire area. Currently, Ocean Brass is ranked in the Second Section of the West of England Brass Band Association.
OUR HISTORY
Ocean Brass was established in 1998 through the merger of two Southampton bands, Solent Brass and Southampton Central. groups faced declining membership, leading to the decision that combining forces would create a band with a promising and vibrant future. This amalgamation has allowed Ocean to thrive, bringing together talent and enthusiasm to enhance their musical journey.
